Payment Information

Payment:

• All orders are placed on our SECURE SERVER - a Skipjack Transaction Network.
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express Cards, and Discover Cards
• Orders will only be shipped out after your credit card information is validated. This can take up to three business days.
• Your credit card will be charged on the day we ship your order.
• We will accept checks and US Postal Money orders. Please make the check out to: Girlie Girls Design Studio. If you are mailing a check, we will wait for the check to clear before the item(s) are made and shipped. Please remember, that we have a limited number of items available in each style, and the item may sell-out during this time frame.
• All prices are in US dollars
• California state tax of 8.25% applies to residents
• Be certain all the information you provide is accurate, otherwise this could delay shipment.

Security and Privacy

• We at Girlie Girls Design Studio take your privacy very seriously. We will not share your personal information with anyone, any company, for any reason, period.
• We do collect your e-mail address, name, mailing address, and phone number in order to process your order and to provide you with excellent customer service. We also use your e-mail address to notify you when we have new jewelry pieces available for you to view and purchase.

• The Skipjack Transaction Network that we are associated with provides the highest levels of security. Transactions are encrypted from the customer to the gateway. Each credit card data is individually encrypted, the information is not stored by Girlie Girls, in fact, all we see are the last four digits of your credit card, the information is stored in Skipjack’s fully -secured facilities. What this means to our customers is that, in the unlikely event that one transaction is compromised, the information gained cannot be used to compromise another transaction, since each key is unique to each transaction.
• While the information you provide is secure in the shopping cart - checkout; that is not the case with regular e-mail. Therefore please do not send sensitive information through regular e-mail. We will contact ou and make arrangements as needed.

Fraud
As a merchant, all I ask for is positive identification…much harder to accomplish on-line than in a face- to-face transactions. Therefore, we have established some guidelines:

• No order is accepted unless complete information is provided including full address and phone number
• We will only ship the to the billing address provided for the credit card
• We will not accept any order originating from a free, web-based, or email forwarding address – the customer must provide an ISP or domain based address. One that can be traced back to a “real” person.
• Sadly, there are some international countries we will not be sending our merchandise to; the possibility of fraud is too high. Please contact us to verify that we ship to your country.
